‘Bring a little colour into your life’.
Both sides of my family paint, so it runs in my blood. I’m learning more about this in my 50’s, our soul’s purpose and how much I love creating and the joy I hope it brings to others. I am so proud of our two children who are both extremely creative… Ben following his passion in photography and Sophie who handmade jewellery.
I really like mixed media, the variety, the different textures, finishes and the colours of mosaicking, watercolours, acrylics and recently silk painting on scarves.
The mosaics on display at Gallery 45 are inspired by the SEA BLUE colours of Port Elliot. The connection with the simple, natural beauty of the ocean, when the waves wash onto the beach and make patterns… Like our emotions that ebb and flow, then leave impressions upon us.
