Glass artist
I established my studio at Port Elliot in March 2016 and the environment by the sea is a stimulating one in which to work. My inspiration comes from observation of the natural and constructed environment and the application of this within my glasswork.
I am enthralled by mixing glass colours, creating patterns, fusing, cutting and shaping glass to create a work, either functional or aesthetic.
The joy is in the making, the anticipation of the finished work as it forms in the kiln and then the sharing of the piece with family and friends.
